Casual Trainer & Assessor – C3 in Individual Support & Childcare Diploma(CHC50121)

💻 Delivery Mode: Work from home – Zoom training sessions for students
⏰ Hours:

• Individual Support Trainer: 15–25 hours per week
• Childcare Diploma Trainer: 6 hours per week
  (Potential for hours to increase based on performance and availability)

We’re Hiring!
We are seeking two casual contract Trainers and Assessors to join our team:

• One for Certificate III in Individual Support
• One for Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

You must reside in Queensland, ideally in the Brisbane region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging training in your qualified area
• Commence delivery immediately (Zoom-based and/or in-person)
• Contextualise learning materials and ensure compliance with training package requirements
• Conduct student assessment and support online marking
• Build positive rapport with multicultural student groups
• Perform placement visits and manual handling training (Individual Support)
• Maintain accurate training records using aXcelerate

Required Qualifications & Experience

• A vocational qualification in Individual Support, Disability, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
• TAE40116 or TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (with updated trainer matrix)
• Minimum 1 year of industry or training experience preferred (new TAE graduates also welcome)
• Manual handling training experience (preferred for Individual Support trainer)
• Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and student management systems (preferably aXcelerate)
• Comfortable with Zoom delivery and online assessment
• Own a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Have a suitable home office setup

Class Schedules

• Certificate III in Individual Support: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (via Zoom)
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care: Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (via Zoom)
• Additional work for Individual Support: manual handling training, placement supervision, and assessment marking
