About the Role
As a Meat Retail Trainer & Assessor, you will deliver high-quality, workplace-based training to apprentices in butcher shops across Sydney and Southern NSW. You’ll work closely with employers and learners to ensure apprentices gain the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in the industry.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Butcher (Meat Retail) with recent, relevant trade experience
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110) or willingness to complete, with Axial’s support
- Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
- Ability to travel (all expenses paid by Axial)
- A genuine passion for supporting and developing the next generation of butchers
