SAVILE (RTO: 45452) is an RTO based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne which works with secondary schools, teachers and students across Victoria through third party arrangements. The role of the RTO Compliance Officer will encompass the responsibility for monitoring trainer and organisational compliance of the RTO in line with the Standards of RTO’s 2025.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of secondary school operations, RTO compliance regulations and a background in quality assurance of items such as training materials, assessments, and learning resources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting and reporting on internal quality audits.
- Assure the quality of training and assessment materials are to the standard of the organisation.
- Keep updated on compliance through liaising and professional development.
- Develop and enact continuous improvement plans.
- QMS monitoring
- Compile compliance and QA reports.
- Interpret and implement ASQA standards.
- Monitor and address non-compliance issues and form rectification plans for internal/external audit findings.
- Collaborate for cross-departmental compliance.
- Stay current on relevant laws and industry standards.
- Train and monitor staff on compliance protocols.
- Maintain compliance records.
- Participate in ASQA performance audits where required.
What do you need?
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A Qualification relevant to the VET sector (minimum of TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years in a quality/compliance management role within an RTO
- Deep understanding of Vocational Education and Training, including ASQA Standards, VET Quality Frameworks.
- Industry experience in RTO quality, compliance or training design and development
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
- Understanding of VET systems
- Interpersonal skills - highly developed communication and relationship management skills, including building working relationships, displaying qualities that encourage positive communication and trust.
- Ability to build rapport, lead people, delegate tasks and report on outcomes.
- Strong computing skills, and the ability to use a Student Management System, Management System and Basic Communications/Project Management Software
