About the Role
We are seeking and motivated and experienced RTO Manager to lead and manage RTO operations across MEGT Education & Training RTOs. In this role, you will ensure the effective, compliant and sustainable delivery of vocational education and training programs.
You will provide leadership across training delivery, student services, administration, quality assurance, compliance, workforce planning, resource allocation, operational performance and financial oversight, while driving continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement nd business growth.
Key Responsibilities
As the RTO Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage day-to-day RTO operations, including training delivery, student support, administration, scheduling, compliance activities and workforce planning
- Provide direction, coaching, performance feedback and professional development support to trainers, administration, student services and operational staff and contractors
- Oversee training and assessment strategies, delivery models, assessment systems, learning resources, validation and moderation activities
- Manage compliance, quality assurance and risk management in line with RTO Standards, VET Quality Framework, funding contract obligations and organisational policies
- Monitor budgets, resources, staffing, delivery capacity, financial performance and operational reporting to support sustainable RTO performance and growth
- Build strong relationship with learners, employers, schools, employment service providers, ACP and GTO providers, industry, regulators, community partners and internal teams
About You
You will be an experienced, values-led and commercially aware RTO leader who can balance quality, compliance, people leadership and operational performance. You will bring:
- Demonstrated leadership or management experience in an RTO, VET, employment services or similarly regulated environment
- A relevant qualification in education, training, business, management, compliance, human resources or a related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of RTO Standards, VET Quality Framework requirements, training packages, regulator requirements, funding contracts and audit expectations
- Experience managing training delivery, student services, administration, compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, develop and motivate staff or contractors including performance management and workload planning
- Strong stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiations and relationship building skills with the ability to represent the organisation professionally
- Sound financial, resource and business management capability, including budget monitoring, performance reporting and sustainable resource allocation
- Experience using Student Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office and reporting tools, with knowledge of funded programs, audits and AVETMISS reporting highly regarded.
