Working alongside experienced trainers and clients, the successful candidate will handle a mix of administrative, management, and supervisory duties, including maintaining student records, enrolments, and compliance documentation; managing day-to-day activities such as client portal updates, regulatory documentation, accounts, payroll, and rostering; providing administrative support for training program coordination; using the aXcelerate student management system for data entry; responding to student and trainer queries; liaising with clients; supporting office staff; and supervising and mentoring business trainees. Experience with payroll and accounts management systems is preferred but not essential.

AMAST is currently looking for an enthusiastic reliable person to join our team in an assistant office manager role.

The Role

Your role as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) assistant office manager will mean you will be working closely with our experienced trainers and valued clients. You will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of RTO specific duties and office management requirements outlined in the key responsibilities and will be working in a closeknit team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

As an RTO Assistant Office Manager, you will be undertaking management, administrative and supervisory duties including:

  • Manage and maintain student records, enrolments, and compliance documentation
  • Manage day-to-day business activities such as client portal updates, regulatory activity documentation, assist with accounts, payroll and roster management.
  • Experience with payroll and accounts management systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Provide administrative support for the coordination of training programs
  • Working with the RTO's student management system (aXcelerate) to complete data entry and recording requirements
  • Respond to student and trainer queries as required.
  • Liaise with client representatives
  • Provide general support to other office staff
  • Supervise and mentor business trainees
